Illinois Lawmakers consider a Bill that allows Farmers to grow Industrial Hemp, The City of Aurora plans on buying a house just to demolish it, and Governor Rauner will sign a plan to automatically register Illinois Voters

Democratic State Senator Toi Hutchinson is sponsoring the legislation that allows Farmers to grow Industrial Hemp. It passed the State Senate this month and is headed to the House.

The City of Aurora will buy a house to tear it down. The House on 7th Ave. near Our Lady of Good Council School has been the subject of Police Calls over the past few years. The property will be divided and deeded to neighbors on either side of the house after it is demolished.

A Spokesperson says Governor Rauner will sign a plan to automatically register qualified Illinois Voters. State law makers have already approved the proposal that calls for registering individuals automatically when they visit one of several State agencies unless they opt out.
