A Pedestrian hit on Route 31 is now in Critical,but stable condition, A new Starbucks opens up across the street from a Starbucks in Naperville, and Michael Madigan says there may be a finalized proposed spending plan sometime today

An update on a pedestrian hit by a car on Route 31 in Kane County Friday. As of Monday, 53-year-old North Carolina resident Thomas Aucoin is in critical but stable codition. Authorities say he was hit shortly before 10 am Friday on Route 31 near Silver Glen in St. Charles.

A Starbucks in downtown Naperville is opening across the street from the old location. The store at Jefferson and Main closed on the 18th and is set to reopen on Friday at a location across the street at 203 S. Main St. Two other downtown Starbucks locations remain open.

Illinois house speaker Michael Madigan says democrats may have a finalized, proposed state spending plan sometime today. Four days remain in the special legislative session aimed at solving the state budget crisis.
