Illinois Community Health Care Centers receive $24 Million,Smoke Tests continue in Naperville, and Aurora Police ask for Public’s Help

 

Illinois community health care centers are set to receive $24 million in federal funding. The funding will be shared by 10 different community health organizations across the state. Community health care centers serve up to 1.3 million people across Illinois.

Naperville officials say a series of smoke tests will continue in Brookdale, Pebblewood and surrounding subdivisions. Tests began on Monday and work should last about four weeks.

Aurora police are asking for the public’s help for any information in three separate shootings that took place in the city over the weekend. In the first two shots were fired at vehicles in driveways. A third happened early Sunday afternoon when a man walking exchanged shots with people in an SUV. No word on if the shootings are related.
